Louis Joseph de Bourbon, Duke of Vendome was a French military commander, stands tall on this 49 inch Vintage Lamp. The Original Red Velvet Lamp Shade is 16.5" in Diameter, 19" Tall at the Longest Point, and 17" Long at the Shortest Point. The inside of the Lampshade is a Shiny Metallic Gold that Reflects The Light in a very Vintage way. From the Base to the Topper/Finial is 45". From the base to the lightbulb base is 36". The Base itself is 12 inches in Diameter. From Shoulder to Shoulder, the Duke Measures 11 Inches. The Cord is 9 Feet Long. The Lamp Does Work - See All Photos. Seller Notes: "There is small chip on the hand holding the walking stick(pictured), and a half inch chip on the back bottom left side almost underneath of his cape(pictured). The ORIGINAL Red Velvet Lamp Shade has 3-4 very small marks on it, the top strip is slightly faded in certain areas, the gold intertwined ribbon accent at the top is still in great condition, the bottom gold ribbon accent is loose at several places. The power cord measures 9 feet in length, 8 feet is original green/clear cord, 1 ft is spliced brown cord with electrical tape around it. The lamp WORKS. Overall condition considering age and rarity -- excellent, especially compared to others that have turned up over the past couple years. 98% Original Parts. Stunning Light. Absolutely Stunning.
